Great Orme Mines – This nearby day out is a very enjoyable and educational experience for kids and adults alike. You can take a walk through the tunnels that were mined over 3,500 years ago by our prehistoric ancestors in their search for copper.
Greenwood Forest – Greenwood Forest Park is located between Caernarfon and Bangor and has a variety of rides and rollercoasters as well as racing in Moon Karts!
Llanberis Lake Railway – Take a ride on one of the famous Great Little Trains of Wales to take in unparalleled views of Snowdonia. The journey starts at Gilfach Ddu station in the Padarn Country Park, the trip begins with a ride on the recently opened extension up to Llanberis Village, passing the Welsh Slate Museum and historic Dolbadarn Castle on the way.
