Poole is home to the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu and also the Adventure Wonderland theme park.

Weymouth can trace its popularity back to King George the Third who often came to bathe in the sea here. These days visitors come from afar to enjoy Weymouth for its glorious beach and promenade in addition to a large number of other exciting family attractions.

Dorchester is a beautiful market town which has close links to author Thomas Hardy. The town offers many attractions for visitors including the castle keep in the centre of the town and the Dorset County Museum.

Wareham is an ancient market town dating back to Roman times. Visitors can enjoy walking through the picturesque streets and along the riverbanks of the town’s two rivers- the River Frome and the River Piddle. Visit the farmers markets or enjoy a drink in one of the abundance of pubs or traditional english tearooms. The Rex Cinema in Wareham is the only remaining gas-lit cinema in the country!

Sandford offers a large spacious indoor swimming pool where you can go for a relaxing swim or let the kids splash about. There’s also a seating area so you watch the kids if you don’t fancy a swim yourself!

There’s an outdoor swimming pool for the warm summer days that is open from 18 May to the 6 September. There’s plenty of space for you to catch a few rays on the sun loungers and there’s a musical wet play area for the kids.
