The Royal Burgh of Dornoch is a highland town steeped in heritage, visit the 13th century cathedral, the old jailhouse or test your skills on Dornoch’s championship golf course. Visit the National Nature reserve by Loch Fleet or stroll along the quiet streets lined with sandstone houses and cottages. The fantastic 13th century cathedral is worth a visit, and was in fact the location Madonna chose for her wedding!
Golspie is a small town steeped in a bitter history which involved up to 15,000 people being removed and relocated by the Dukes of Sutherland. Today visitors can soak up the atmosphere or visit the duke’s old residence, Dunrobin Castle.
